I'm Brandon Li, a game designer and programmer from New York City.

I started programming Flash games in 2011, which makes me pretty late to the party. After working on a few early projects that were ultimately abandoned, I was able to actually finish some games by entering competitions on ChallengePost.com.

After this I started to work on a larger project - a puzzle platformer with the working name Project Moody. I wanted it to be my first sponsored Flash game, but it became clear that development would take longer than I first imagined. So instead, I worked on a smaller game called Indefinite. Indefinite was my first game I got sponsored on fgl.com, and also the first one I published on Google Play.

What do I do?

I am the designer, programmer, and artist for my own games. I'm also a freelancer and I helped build web, game, and app products for various clients. You can e-mail me at [email protected] if you'd like me to work on your project.

What is BrandLibel?

BrandLibel is the online handle I use on my games, my work, and when posting on the social medias. A combination of the old nordic "brandr", meaning to burn, and the latin "libellus", meaning book, it could represent some meaningful idea, but it is probably just a combination of two words that sound vaguely like my name.
